What is a Vehicle Wrap?
Vehicle wraps are mobile advertizing which is highley effective in generating a resopnse form your target audiance. The physical wrap is 3m vinyl media and laminate adheared to the exterior of the vehicle over paint. A vehicle wrap is much more versitile than paint or cut vinyl because the design possabilities are unlimited, also the wrap can be removed and redone multiple times, as your business or message changes. The wrap will also protect the paint on the vehicle.
How much does it cost.?
Very simple, place your vehicle into one of the catagories below and thats your price. This includes full professional custom design and 2 revisions, full 3m media and overlaminate production (yes, you can come check) and complete professional installation at our climate controlled indoor facility, vehicle pick up and delivery service is available for an additional fee. Wrapping a vehicle outdoors in the dust and wind is not a good idea. Wrapping your vehicle does not have to be complicated. If you can think of a reason to have your vehicle wrapped anywhere else please tell us!

If your vehicle does not fit into one of these categories we are happy to give you a custom quote, rest assured we will use the same new pricing structure that is applied to the above vehicles for your project.
|
What's the difference between a partial and full
wrap?
Anything less than a full wrap is normally called a "partial
wrap." The project above for the Tampa Bay Bucks is a partial wrap.
|
How long will vehicle wraps last?
Normally, you can leave
a wrap on between four to six years. The life of your wrap depends on many
factors such as care and treatment of your
vehicle.
|
Will a Vehicle Wrap damage my paint?
No. In fact the vehicle wrap will protect the paint.
|
How long does the process take?
Most of the process time
is spent in the design phase where we will develop the concept that you have for
your wrap. The length of time in design can be shortened if you bring specific ideas to the design meeting. After that comes the production and
installation stage. It usually takes less than 2 weeks for the process to be
complete.
|
If my vehicle wrap graphics are damaged, can they be
fixed?
Yes. You can normally have the damaged pieces replaced. You
normally do not need to redo the entire wrap if the damage is limited to a small
area of the vehicle.

|
How long will you need my vehicle?
Installation of
the wraps can usually be done in less than two days for most
vehicles.
|
How do I care for my Wrap?
Hand washing is best.
Do not use high pressure washes and be careful never to use an ice scraper on window
graphics.
|
Can I see through vinyl on the windows?
You can see
through window graphics that are printed on perforated window film. Window perf
vinyl is perforated with very small holes that allow you to see
out.
Why does the window film look funny... streaks etc. from installation?
Being able to see the pressure used during installation is normal, this will look like pressure streaks and also small bubbles in the window film. This effect will go away over the first week you have the vehicle and the media recovers from installation. This is true of any window perf installation regardless of where it is done. After about a week the window will look smooth and even. You can accelerate this curing process by leaving the vehicle in the hot sun.
|
Is it normal to have some wrinkles or bubbles, and what about seams?
On a full
wrap it is normal to have an occasional wrinkle. There should be no bubbles on flat areas of the install. An exception would be air around the rivets or screw heads on trucks and trailers. Some rivets are large and have 90 degree angles to the surface, these types of rivets or screws will have an air pocket around them. The vinyl has limitations and will not stay down into a 90 degree bend. The air space around a rivet or screw head will decrease as type (size and height) of the rivet or screw head decreases. In general terms large rivets will typically have an air pocket and tiny rivets will typically lay flat. The air pocket around a rivet in no way effects the longevity or quality of the install, it is simply a limitation of the vinyl. The wrap will have seams, seams are generally difficult to spot unless you are right up close, vehicle wraps are designed to be viewed from a distance.
|
How much does it cost?
Each wrap is unique. A typical full wrap on a panel van is around $3000.00, a full wrap on a city bus can go up to $14,000.00, or a small pick-up with a partial wrap may be $500.00. We are happy to provide a no obligation price quote for your specific project.
|
Do you have the ability to wrap large vehicles like truck trailers
and RVs?
Yes, we have the capability to wrap almost anything, all of it in our indoor climate controlled facility. We also offer vehicle pick up and drop off.

Why Buy A Wrap?
We have some
information that may help you make a decision if a vehicle wrap is right for your
business or your customers. Let’s assume a wrap costs $3000 (which typically it
costs less for the average sized vehicle) and assume that the customer will
keep the wrap on their vehicle for a period of 5 years. (For arguments sake we
will assume most business owners only lease the vehicle for 4 years).....
So, now we have a cost of $3k and a time frame
of 4 years. The average vehicle in a major metro area will have over
700,000 impressions per month. So now what we do is calculate the monthly cost
of your wrap based on the numbers…..$62.50! Keep in mind the other benefit
factors of a wrap: the retention rate of this medium is extremely high. Many
people will remember a wrap much more than any other form of outdoor
advertising. Also the targeting of this advertising is unsurpassed….why?
Typically a small business owner will drive their company vehicle directly in
their target market area further concentrating the advertising.
We often challenge anyone to find an advertising medium at $63/month that can
compete. Most people can’t even advertise in the classified section of a
newspaper for that amount! Even if they did, what is the circulation of that
paper? Is it targeted to your specific area? No way!
Think about this: For the price of a cup of coffee you can be advertising,
targeted mind you, to literally thousands of people per day!
Another fact to consider: Fuel costs are at all time highs. Whether you realize
it or not, you are ALREADY paying for advertising using your vehicle. If you do
not have a wrap on your vehicle you are actually burning money as you drive.
Capitalize on your company vehicle or fleets by maximizing
return on capital that you are already spending on fuel consumption.
Keep in mind is that this type of advertising is not like radio, print, or
television. It cannot be turned off or simply change the channel! Many of
our wrap clients also take advantage of their wraps in areas that traditionally
cost huge sums of money. Such venues are at trade shows, conventions, and grand
openings. Many times an advertiser will have to get on a list well in advance
to advertise at a premier event or location. Example: lets say you want to
advertise in Times Square New York. Most people can’t even imagine the cost! A
wrap owners dream, you just drive down right through it anytime you want!
Here are some numbers for you.
Vehicle signage garners about 8.4 million impressions in a 12-month period.
Radio attracts 900,000 listeners in six weeks with 10 to 12 30-second spots.
Value Pak offers a reach of 600,000 with 100,000 addresses per drop and your
client is just one of many advertisers included in the packet.
Direct mail reaches 20,000 names with one post card mailer.
Seven city buses get 600,000 impressions in two months.
Billboards get 700,000 impressions in one month.
Traditional Vs. Innovative
Vehicle advertising reaches consumers not exposed or lightly exposed to
newspaper or television. For instance it was found that people with long
commutes are more difficult to reach with newspaper advertising; however 96% of
North Americans travel in a vehicle each week either as a driver or as a
passenger. A fair display advertisement in the Yellow Pages can reach costs of
$15,000 for just one year. In that common approach, you have to wait for
someone to pick up the right directory where you are listed, share space at all
times with direct competitors and hope that the potential client will choose
you from all of the others listed. Besides, most businesses in the same
industry will be listed in the same pages, whereas with mobile advertising, Vehicle
wraps deliver the information in a unique way to your target
audience. Vehicle advertising reaches everyone without discrimination. With a
price tag ranging from $2,500-$5,000, RigWraps makes it very cost effective to achieve the high
impact a vehicle wrap has to
offer.
Static Advertising Vs. Mobile
Information from 3M tells us that "research has been able to determine the
effectiveness of moving billboards, or fleet advertising, through the study of
Global Positioning Systems installed in trucks and traffic counts. This
first-ever study was performed by the Traffic Audit Bureau (TAB), an
independent non-profit organization that authenticates the circulation of
out-of-home advertising such as billboards.
In the recent trial using a Seiko ad created with Scotchprint® Graphics, one
truck reached an estimated 40,585 people a day in Chicago, where an average Chicago
billboard reaches about 48,000 people. While the exposure is comparable, the
cost for fleet advertising is half that of traditional outdoor advertising, or
70 cents per 1,000 impressions, according to TAB.
"Fleet advertising represents a unique media opportunity. It is less
likely to get lost in the clutter or blend in with the background, as other
out-of-home advertising can sometimes do," said Bob Swanson, advertising
manager, Seiko. "If used strategically, fleet advertising, by its very
nature, has the potential to be more dynamic and captivating.”
